2024 Annual Kuwatch Conference - Q&A

Our annual two-day conference is only 8 days away!
The updated conference flyer is available via a tab on the CDLA website. 
As earlier noted, CDLA Expert Dr. Adam Kaye will be presenting Nuts & Bolts of Marijuana DUI's on Saturday morning, replacing the session that Virginia Landry was to present on Voir Dire.
Answers to (actual!) questions members have asked me:
 
  1. Will the conference be live-streamed or recorded? 
            No.
 
        2) How many MCLE credit hours is the conference? 
             9.0 credit hours
             Registrants will receive their MCLE Certificate of Attendance the week following the conference
 
  1. Is the hotel discount still available?
            Yes, the Hyatt Centric has extended this discounted rate through Monday, July 29,
 
  1. When can we check-in and receive our badge & conference materials?
    The conference kicks off on Friday, August 2 at 1:00 p.m.
            Registrants can check-in at the CDLA Registration Desk at 12:00 Noon.
            Note that all of our Sponsor booths will also be available to browse at this time.
 
  1. Can I only attend on Saturday?
            Yes, but you need to pay the full conference registration fee. (I.e., there is no per-day fee.)
            (Saturday-only attendees will receive an MCLE Certificate of Attendance for 4.5 credit hours)
 
  1. Which Sponsors will have booths at the conference?

  1. Will there be raffle prizes this year?
            Yes, there are two raffle sessions to be held on Saturday: one during the Sponsor Presentations (11:00 - 11:30 a.m.) and              the other at the end of the conference (3:45 - 4:00 p.m.) to encourage attendees to stay until the end!
 
  1. Will attendees receive copies of the Speakers' presentations?
             Yes, attendees will be emailed a folder with all presentations the morning of Saturday, August 3.
 
  1. Is CDLA allowing "walk-in" registrations on Friday, August 2 or Saturday, August 3?
            Yes, you can register on-site at the CDLA Registration Desk which will be open on Friday from 12:00 to 5:15 p.m. and
            on Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (There is no late registration charge.)
 
       9) What is the dress for the conference?
            Business Casual
 
      10) Is the Friday evening Networking Reception a dinner?
             No, appetizers and a cash-bar will be available during the 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening reception.
