Terry Wapner to receive CDLA's highest award at annual conference

FORMER CDLA TREASURER TERRY WAPNER TO RECEIVE CDLA'S HIGHEST AWARD

During the Awards Luncheon to be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at the 2022 CDLA Annual Kuwatch Conference, our beloved and highly respected former Treasurer Terry Wapner will receive the prestigious Edward Kuwach Lifetime Achievement Award posthumously.

Terry truly was the backbone of CDLA, especially after our organization lost our last Executive Director.  Terry stepped up in so many ways to keep CDLA going strong and to made sure that our membership stayed informed.  He spent countless hours transferring CDLA over to a new platform on top of running a successful legal practice in Fresno.

Terry Wapner not only served CDLA exceedingly well, but he was also the heartbeat these last 4+ years.  He worked exceptionally hard to make sure CDLA could become a top notch organization for California's most prestigious and respected DUI lawyers. Primarily due to Terry's tireless efforts, I truly believe that CDLA has achieved that status.

Terry passed away unexpectedly in November 2021. His granddaughter will receive this prestigious honor for him during the Awards Luncheon.
