Bio: Vincent John Tucci is a DUI trial attorney who has litigated over 100 DUI trials in his 22 year career in all Southern California courts. In 2017, Mr. Tucci tried a .18/.18 PAS with a .18/.19 EC-IR II in the Metro Courthouse against the nation’s top DUI prosecutor in the LA City Attorney’s Office & obtained a NOT GUILTY verdict for his client who was a commercial license holder. That victory saved his client’s job and life. This trial lasted eleven days. Also, in 2017, Mr. Tucci tried a DUI case in Pomona for another commercial driver. We obtained a hung jury with 9 of the 12 jurors voting not guilty. This trial lasted 10 days. DA wouldn’t dismiss the case. However, they did offer us the deal we were seeking but only after trial. I told the DA that was the pretrial offer. We want a dismissal. They rejected that offer so the case was reset for trial. We invited the court to dismiss the case and the court declined our invitation. The court and the prosecutor then scheduled the case beyond the statutory time violating our client’s constitutional speedy trial rights. We filed our motion and the entire case was dismissed. Lastly, in 2017 in the Downey Superior Court, we obtained a not guilty for our client who crashed her car and allegedly refused to take a chemical test. All twelve jurors felt as we did that our client was not guilty of driving under the influence. This trial lasted 6 days. Vincent Tucci has represented citizens against the DMV thousand of times.
