Bio: Since 1999, I have been practicing solely in criminal defense. After graduating with honors from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, California in 1999, I was admitted to the State Bar of California, and served as a public defender in two counties. In 2003 I began a private criminal defense practice in Truckee, California. I have served numerous clients in a broad array of cases, and have consistently represented their best interests and ensured the best possible outcomes to their cases.
As a full-service criminal defense attorney, I offer comprehensive legal representation and defense for virtually all criminal charges. Additionally, I provide my clients with a level of support not available from public defenders and many other criminal lawyers. A DUI charge, for example, mandates a complicated series of steps by the defendant, the failure of any one of which to execute possibly resulting in higher fines, increased jail time and longer suspension of driving privileges. Unlike many defenders, I take the time to spell out to my clients exactly what they need to do and by when to ensure the best possible outcome, both when contesting charges and when pleaing out.
I handle cases privately in Tahoe City for Placer County and am currently a public defender in Plumas County.
