Bio: After starting his career as a deputy public defender in both Ventura and Riverside counties, for over twenty years Michael served as a partner in several of the premier employee defense law firms in Southern California, successfully litigating a number of the very high profile cases. In his career Michael has also litigating nearly two hundred jury trials to verdict and dozens of arbitration hearings. In 2021, with the help of God, Michael Schwartz felt it was time to go out on his own, offering a unique mix of an unparalleled track record, experience, and personalized, compassionate representation. With over 150 expert testimonies in jury trials and presentations at 100+ state, national, and international conferences, Jan is renowned for making complex forensic science accessible. He founded Industrial Training & Design Ltd. in 1995 and has been teaching since 1986, drawing on a strong background in social and physical sciences, educational theory, and policing, with an Advanced Certificate in Police Studies from the Canadian Police College.Leveraging his expertise in breath alcohol testing, Jan collaborates with legal and forensic professionals across North America, offering insights into the science behind forensic tests.
